Do you know about the Ruby on Rails? It’s basically a platform for you to develop web applications easily. Just like the .Net and J2EE platform, Ruby on Rails is platform but based on the Open Source concept. You can basically consider an application built on ROR to be low cost, fast, accurate, and most importantantly, spot on.
Ruby on Rails is what I’m working on recently. One of the best resource I’ve found is called Hackety Hack where you can learn to code and program Ruby in just a couple of free lessons. And yes it’s Free!

Some interesting facts:
- Code a blog application in just 6 lines.
- Code an Instant Messaging application in just 12 lines.
- Code an application to download mp3 or YouTube video.
- It’s easy to learn because of the interactive experience that’s provided.
Check out Hackety Hack today to learn the Ruby programming language.
