What is Adlogger?

AdLogger is an open source PPC click tracking and click fraud prevention program for an effective internet marketing strategy and campaign.

The top three reason why I use this tooll:

1. Get notified via email everytime there is an adsense click.
   You will need to set up your site to include some AdLogger scripts for it to track the clicks. If you have a PDA phone hooked up to the Internet, you can set up a special email address and have it ring everytime there is an email generated from a click!

New way to get more AdSense clicks!

It’s about Jay Young and his secret weapon to instantly maximize revenue from Google Adsense. This weapon of his is developed to deal with Google Adsense Banner Blindness. With so many site publishers advertising with Adsense, more and more Internet surfers are beginning to understand how Adsense works. The following are steps to apply the images on your adsense ad:

1. After download, unzip the file.
2. In the folder Free Adsense Background, there’s a folder called HTML, double click on it.
3. To get the codes, right click on train.html then Open with Notepad.
4. Copy the html codes from within the tables. Remember to change the adsense details to yours.
5. Upload all images in the images folder to your web hosting.
6. Walla all done!

Reading this post on For every optimization action, there is a user reaction, it made me wonder if I tweak my site layout, what would be the outcome? Will my earnings just drop, increase or will it just stay the same? I could just sit there and wonder or simply work on it and see the results. In 30 mins, I switched my right column over to the left. See the screenshot below.

This simple tweak led to an increased click through rate. Don’t ask me why I placed the column on the right earlier. I guess it’s because I was lazy to find a way to move the column since it came with the default theme. Looking at the site now, it does make a lot of sense to place the menu on the left since readers read and browse from the left to right looking for relevant and good content. The wide skyscraper ads basically performs much better now that it’s on the left.

If you monetize your site via adsense or affiliate programs, have a steady flow of traffic but getting low ctrs, you must do something about it today. Of course, only if you’re interested to earn more! Do the following:

• You may get heartbroken if your adsense income is not increasing. $0.00 after several updates. Warning, this may lead to severe depression!

Enhancement Wishlist

• For those whose earnings are slow and low, have an option to send an sms or email everytime there is a click. If this is possible, I will never turn off my phone even when I sleep. It’s ok to be woken up by a $0.01 click!
• Ability to set limits such as notify via sms or email only when earnings or impressions exceed certain predefined number.

They are calling him the million dollar man. Jason Calacanis recently revealed in his blog that he is on track to earn a million dollars from AdSense over the year ahead.

And if that number doesn’t wake you up and have you sitting on the edge of your seat, consider for a moment that he reached this level in less than a year. His company only started using AdSense in September 2004.

Calacanis runs Weblogs Inc., a network dedicated to creating trade weblogs across niche industries. And he’s quickly proven that AdSense is a credible advertising partner.

As their network has grown, so has their AdSense revenue. In January 2005 they earned an average of $580 per day. In March it was $737. In May it was $1,585. One day in July, just before he made the blog entry referred to above, they earned $2,335. Remember that is just for one day. If they can take that daily average to $2,740 they’ll be earning a rate of $1 million for a year. And Calacanis predicts that reaching daily earnings of $3,000 or even $5,000 is quite achievable.

That’s quite an achievement. Keep in mind that Calacanis has 103 bloggers on the payroll and nine staffers. Even so, many webmasters would give an arm or a leg to have even a third of that.

Google’s AdSense has been revolutionary. It has become firmly established as the darling of the online advertising industry. Although rumors are heard of major competitors launching a similar service, AdSense’s premier position seems secure for now.
