   i’ve always had luck with loudsign.com. they are cheap and reliable. but i know each host has its strengths and weaknesses. some do the low cost thing with minimal services. some do really high end dedicated servers with great service. word of mouth is always the best way to find them, in my opinion.

    I use Midphase. They’re good, not great. I guess as long as my sites stay up, I should not complain.

    I had one problem with Godaddy that you all should know:
    I was advertising a product and suggesting that some celeb (I won’t say which) is supporting the product, because that what I saw on the sell page.

    And then the celeb’s lawyer told godaddy that I’m doing something illigal and godaddy suspended all of my godaddy account, which meant a big loss of money.

    there really are heaps and heaps of web hosting services out there and finding the best one that meets your needs can be a little tricky… sites like these are a sure-fire way to finding what you are looking for… some people who are starting out do not even know what web hosting is… it would greatly help if they read up about web hosting so that they can also identify what their needs are…

    I would suggest one should bit of search at reviews sites, award sites to get onto a good host, which is so essential for business, else one keep changing file from host to host instead of doing business.     Thanks for this site, however I would say that there are some free webhosting companies as well which you can test out like 000webhost so to get a good feel about blogging world.

    Choosing a stable company is very important because once you’re getting high amount of traffic, your hosting is very important. If it has high downtime % then your visitors may not turn to your site again.

    I have also heard the problem about blogger so it’s important to have a self-hosted blog so you can feel free.

    Nice article. I have hosted with 10 or so companies in the past and for me it all came down to customer service. Prices and features were very similar but support was not.
