How to get email notifications when there is an Adsense Click!
Do you want to get notified everytime there is an adsense click on your site? Do you want to know the country which the click came from. And more important, which adsense link was clicked? Recently I stumble on a great tool to get notifications via email whenever there is an adsense click. The best thing, the tool is free for you to use and it’s not difficult to implement at all. The tool I’m talking about is called AdLogger by Trevor Fitzgerald!
What is Adlogger?
AdLogger is an open source PPC click tracking and click fraud prevention program for an effective internet marketing strategy and campaign.
The top three reason why I use this tooll:
- Get notified via email everytime there is an adsense click.
You will need to set up your site to include some AdLogger scripts for it to track the clicks. If you have a PDA phone hooked up to the Internet, you can set up a special email address and have it ring everytime there is an email generated from a click!
- Find out the page where the Adsense link was clicked.
It will be good to know which page generates the most Adsense clicks, then focus more on promoting that specific page. I can also find out which country the click came from because the IP address of the click is logged. - Block nasty people from click attacking your site.
Some nasty people might know that your site has low traffic an attempts to launch some automated clicking software to attack your site and hopefully get you kicked out from Adsense. With Adlogger, you can set the maximum number of clicks allowed from an IP address. Anything more, the Ads won’t be displayed for that person. This is very important to protect yourself if you’re new to the Adsense program.
The list above are the top three reasons why I use Adlogger. If you think it’s cool and will be beneficial to you, head over to Adlogger’s website to download the tool today! Any questions or comments, do feel free to drop me a comment.

Insightful post, especially about international traffic and clicks from AdSense. Thanks.

Very nice tips, But I am littlebit worried about, is it not 3rd party sharing my clicking details. Is it safe for me?
Thanks
Hi,
I had heard about AdLogger before and from all I understand it stopped working in 2007. You can check the adlogger home page. Even the download link you provided doesn’t work.
So I’m not sure what people are excited about.
I used Adlogger for a long time before but like DFB said it has been discontinued a long time ago. Its author said that it no longer works with the recent updates in google.
What an informative article
Thanks.

Your ideas worth to be put in practice. I like them very much.
Of course, I use Adlogger because it’s very comfortable to receive notification, but not every hour to check e-mail.
Indeed, useful application, have installed it and got notifications as soon as they appear. Thank you!
The feature sounds good. How about introducing a feature that can periodically update adsense balance to my mail id.
What about if we keep clicking the google adsense for other websites? Do you think they will get banned? I’m so curious with this situation!
Yes Now Adsense is more smart and they reduce the amount of disabling accounts & they also didn’t count invalid clicks and the valid click also appear after processing.
Very useful piece of software. Thanks a lot for showing it to us.
